Xiaomi has launched its new flip phone, MIX Flip 2, in China. It comes with a strong processor, large battery, and powerful cameras. The phone is the next version after the first MIX Flip and has many upgrades.
Design and Display
MIX Flip 2 is a foldable phone with a flip design. It is slim and lightweight. It comes in four colors – White, Purple, Green, and Gold.
The inner screen is 6.86 inches. It is an AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. It also gives very high brightness up to 3200 nits, making it easy to use even in sunlight.
The outer display is 4.01 inches. It is also AMOLED and supports 120Hz refresh rate. Users can check notifications, reply to messages, and run over 500 apps directly from the cover screen.
Performance and Software
The phone uses the new Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, which is very fast and powerful. It is good for gaming, apps, and multitasking.
MIX Flip 2 has up to 16 GB RAM and up to 1 TB internal storage. It runs on Xiaomi’s own software called HyperOS 2, which is based on Android 15.
To keep the phone cool during heavy use, it has a dual vapor chamber cooling system. This helps the phone run smoothly without getting hot.
Camera Setup
Xiaomi has used two 50 MP rear cameras in this phone, made with help from Leica. The main camera has OIS (optical image stabilization). The second camera is ultra-wide and can also take macro (close-up) shots.
The selfie camera on the front screen is 32 MP. Users can also take selfies using the rear cameras by folding the phone and using the outer display as a viewfinder.
The phone supports 4K video and also has features like Dolby Vision for better picture and video quality.
Battery and Charging
MIX Flip 2 has a big 5,165 mAh battery, which is very large for a flip phone. It supports 67W fast charging with a wire and 50W fast wireless charging. This means users can charge the phone quickly and use it for a long time.

Price and Availability
Xiaomi has launched the phone in China. There are three models:
- 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage at 5,999 yuan
- 12 GB RAM + 512 GB storage at 6,499 yuan
- 16 GB RAM + 1 TB storage at 7,299 yuan
Right now, MIX Flip 2 is only available in China. Xiaomi has not yet said when it will launch in India or other countries.
